Looky, I used my brains!!!

So I have 5 8x10 frames for over the bed for some of my hottie pics that should be in the mail soon, HOPEFULLY!!!  And I want to hang them over my bed, but UGH!!!  You know I measure 60 times and rehammer nails about 10 times.  BUT WAIT!!!  I have leftover Christmas wrapping paper that is gridded...  Hmmm, wonder if this would work.

 Here are the frames, I LOVE these "frameless" frames.

 The crap wrapping paper I almost threw out.

 Can you see the grids?

 Aligned some to my bed for proper length.

 Cut out a pretty piece.

 Folded in half to find center.

 Hung it up (yes, it took about 4 tries, and I think it looks crooked here because the photo is crooked.  Or my bed is crooked).

 There's center!!!

 WAIT!!!  Let's throw it up a notch...  Let's have the pics make a chevron!!!

 YES!!!  I hung the center, then the outer edges 4 squares below the center, found the center between the middle and the outers, and hung those 2 squares down.

 NOW TEAR OFF THE PAPER!!!  Okay, I COULD have removed the frames...  BUT I DIDN'T!!!

 BWA HA HA HA HA!!!

I don't think I straightened the frames after removing the paper, BUT I FEEL SO COOL RIGHT NOW in my crafty nerd world.

Master, DONE!!!

But I am awaiting the pictures for over the bed.

 The mural is done, will add a coat of glitter.

 Yes, moving a bed JUST that much makes me HAPPY!!!

 I decided on the chair there so maybe on restless mornings I an sit there, play Scrabble on my phone, and watch B sleep.  Ooey gooey sweet, I KNOW!!!

 My bed is closer to the window.

Now I await my pictures to be delivered!!!

Time to Clean Up

I decided it was time for change in the master, with a twist.  Here is the start...

 I have ordered some photos to hang over the bed, and with the bird there, it wouldn't make sense.

 But the tribal design inspired by B's tattoo...  I do not have the heart to get rid of it, and really with the color of furniture and such, it does not need to go, so...

I am adding on to it (I had no black paint, s this is a rough idea until tomorrow).  It's a tribal heart, and Ivan and Ro's initials are around it.

And now that I look at it, it's Goth.  HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!  Whoda thunk.  But I love it!

 LOVE the zebra cross.  Hobby Lobby didn't have the mirror I wanted on sale, but crosses and metalwork were 50% off.

 And yes, that is the plastic skull I got 50% off the day after Halloween, with 2 layers of silver glitter paint, and 2 layer of crystal.

The shower curtain looks like it was made for it.  Ad the rugs are "elephant" color.  LOVE IT!!!

So it needs... SHADING!!!

Oh well, at least it's a start, right? I like how masculine and classy it looks for indeed being skulls and crossbones.

 Sorta gives you a headache if you look.
